VENTION ("we," "our," "us," or "VENTION") develops mobile applications and software solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, disclosed, processed, and protected when you use our Satellite Map 3D Live Earth application (the "App") available through Google Play.

This Privacy Policy applies to users worldwide and includes additional provisions applicable to users in jurisdictions with privacy laws such as the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), California, Brazil, Canada, Australia, and South Korea.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, we request consent before processing information for those purposes. You may withdraw consent or change applicable privacy preferences as described below.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account to use the App. Depending on the features you use, device settings, permissions, consent choices, and integrated third-party services, the App and its service providers may process the following categories of information.

1.1 Device and Technical Information

Our integrated services may automatically collect or receive certain technical information, including:

  • Device model and manufacturer
  • Operating system and version
  • Application version
  • Device or advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID (GAID), where available
  • App instance or installation identifiers
  • Language and locale
  • Country or general geographic region
  • App usage and session information
  • Crash and diagnostic information
  • Performance information, such as startup time and screen or network performance
  • Information about interactions with App features
  • Information necessary to maintain security, reliability, and service functionality

The exact information collected depends on the third-party SDKs and services enabled in the App and your device and privacy settings.

1.2 Location Information

The App may request access to your device's location to provide location-dependent features, including:

  • GPS navigation
  • Route guidance
  • Mapping and navigation
  • Speed measurement
  • Distance calculations
  • Altitude information
  • Direction and compass-related functionality
  • Traffic and route-related services
  • Other location-based App functionality

When you grant location permission, the App may process precise location information, including GPS coordinates, when necessary for navigation and related features.

The App does not require location access for features that do not depend on navigation or location services. If you deny or revoke location permission, non-location-dependent features of the App may remain available.

Depending on the Mapbox services and SDKs used by the App, certain location and usage information may also be transmitted to Mapbox as part of navigation functionality and telemetry.

We do not intentionally use location information to create a persistent personal location profile or to continuously track you when the App is not being used for a location-dependent feature.

Where supported by the App and Android, location access is requested using the appropriate Android permission mechanisms. You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.

1.3 Approximate Location

Certain advertising and analytics services may process approximate geographic information, such as general region or location inferred from network or device information.

Approximate location may be used for purposes such as:

  • Providing or measuring advertising
  • Analytics
  • Improving services
  • Regional functionality

Where required by applicable law, advertising-related processing may depend on your consent and privacy choices.

We do not intentionally use approximate location to determine your exact physical location unless you separately grant the App precise location access for a location-dependent feature.

1.4 Information You Provide Directly

The App does not require you to provide personal information such as:

  • Name
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Government identification information

If you voluntarily contact us for support, we may receive information that you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, device information, App version, screenshots, or the contents of your communication.

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide support, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.

1.5 In-App Search and User-Generated Information

The App may allow you to search for places, locations, routes, or other information.

Information entered into a search field is not intentionally treated as personal information merely because it is entered into the App. Where search information is transmitted to a third-party service, such as a mapping or navigation provider, it may be processed as necessary to provide the requested functionality.

Information that remains solely on your device is not transmitted to us unless the App specifically sends it to a service provider.

Where information is transferred to a third party for advertising, analytics, navigation, security, or other services, the applicable data handling depends on the specific service and the information involved.

The App's Google Play Data Safety disclosure describes applicable categories of data collected and/or shared through the App, including data transmitted by integrated third-party SDKs.

8. Data Retention

We do not maintain a general personal-user database on our own servers for ordinary App usage.

Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to their respective retention policies and the purposes for which the information is processed.

For example:

  • Firebase data is subject to Google's applicable retention settings and policies.

  • Communications sent directly to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for support, legal, security, or record-keeping purposes.

We do not claim that third-party service providers retain information for a particular period unless their applicable policies specify that period.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.

Third-party providers used by the App may also implement security measures such as encryption in transit and other safeguards.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a data breach that requires notification under applicable law, we will take the steps required by that law.

10. Your Choices and Controls

You may control certain types of information processing through:

  • Android permission settings

The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13, or the applicable higher minimum age in certain jurisdictions.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at info@ventionpk.com.

If we determine that information was collected from a child in circumstances where collection was not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it where required by law.
